leadership, ousting both Chinese and Western interests, the RTA mostly
comprised Southern and Central African nations under a single banner, leaving
the north to Arabia. Government and business
interests went hand in hand though and after a few bloody coups, were able to
compromise and start trading with the world again. The African
Zambia Umba Corporation continues to secure its hold on the cutting edge of
energy technology and the RTA continues to discover the benefits of
re-inhabiting Earth.

- What kind of energy tech is Zambia into?
- Most likely solar, as well as new advances into fusion and fission
- Why did the Split happen?
- As a way to gain the upper hand from the Northern Arabs, and at the same time to tell the Chinese – thank you, but no more charity (with hidden stipulations), as well as the West – screw you, we will do this ourselves

- Now that things have settled to a rather stable system (weather, geological, diplomatic, etc) the biggest threat is from the survivors that are leery of these highly advanced machines and systems in their post-apocalyptic world
- Also, some of the class c zoobies are still causing some problems as well
- There seems to be a Fallout feel to the world in many places
- Class b and c zoobies are the zombie equivalent
- The surviving humans are basically between poor scavengers to rugged killers, trying to survive.
- There is little industry – or people that can run it well, so when Zambia is coming in, there is a pressure, even though the corp is trying to help the situation (more than screw it over)
- Yet, they do want to get more people into their way of thinking to hire them and thus control them more
- Who is Wakesa?
- Wakesa is currently 79 years old – born in 2050
- Was 16 at the time of the Split (Africa divided) and was active as a messenger for diplos doing business – mostly in the south
- I see him as optimistic and caring, but with a serious and ruthless side that permitted him to exercise control over the corp from …..?? while it was still hibernating under PIC Martian Martial rule
- Protects his children – 3 originally, 2 have died, Safara is the last; wife dead
- Puts a lot of thought and love and pressure onto her; wants her to take over, but knows this will be a struggle (she is resisting a bit)
- Is eager to promote new power tech that other corps can use; still inventing and learning; as a child used to do a lot of diy projects
